This article has lots of great points... But as I was reading, I realised that even with a recent publication date of 20 May 2012, this is 'old' news. It's part of the departing paradigm...

(excerpt) "We stand helpless before the corporate onslaught. There is no way to vote against corporate power. Citizens have no way to bring about the prosecution of Wall Street bankers and financiers for fraud, military and intelligence officials for torture and war crimes, or security and surveillance officers for human rights abuses. The Federal Reserve is reduced [sic. I would have used a different word, eg: "delighted"] to [be] printing money for banks and financiers and lending it to them at almost zero percent interest; corporate officers then lend it to us at usurious rates as high as 30 percent. I do not know what to call this system. It is certainly not capitalism. "Extortion" might be a better word. The fossil fuel industry, meanwhile, relentlessly trashes the ecosystem for profit. The melting of 40 percent of the summer Arctic sea ice is, to corporations, a business opportunity. Companies rush to the Arctic and extract the last vestiges of oil, natural gas, minerals and fish stocks, INDIFFERENT to the death pangs of the planet. The same corporate forces that give us endless soap operas that pass for news... also give us atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide that surpass 400 parts per million. They entrance us with their electronic hallucinations as we waiver, as paralyzed with fear as Odysseus’ sailors, between Scylla and Charybdis." - Chris Hedges
This is a great expose of the OUTGOING paradigm. Chris Hedges et.al. tell it like it was. The OPPT UCC filings give us the means where we now simply point these rapacious corporates to the UCC filings and announce, "Game over dude... Cease and desist." UCC filings are a POWERFUL tool. The UCC is exactly the same tool that the Corporations/ Banks used, to tie everything up in service to themselves.
It's Done Now. It's Finished... That bit of World History is OVER !! Little by little, the Corporate Idealisms of greed, power & control, long aspired to by "The Elites", are being crushed under the weight of the now-inverted illuminati triangle. This is what the "One People's Public Trust" UCC filings have given humanity: The trump card. Game Over !!
On 6 December1865, the 13th Amendment to abolish slavery in the US was ratified. How many people took their Freedom in the Deep South? Maybe not a whole lot at first... There would be consequences For similar reasons (fear, retribution) the UCC filings are being used by the brave few, rather than the uncertain many. Barrier #1: People generally, simply DON'T KNOW about the legislation, as seen in the 1865 example as well as today in 2013.
Barrier #2: The 'social fabric' is not quite ready for people to outright claim their freedom and their rights under the UCC filings. Heck !! Even 100 years after the 13th amendment had been ratified, black kids in so-called 'white schools' was still a problem for a lot of people. The same kind of 'barrier' might exist for many as we try to figure out the legitimacy and consequences of using the Courtesy Notice process. We push forward, we break through, we bring the OPPT UCC filings into public consciousness.
Barrier #3: WE, I say again, "WE" have the mental barrier. RIGHT NOW, we can say to the banks, power companies, courts of law, government, that they are bogus entities whose only purpose is to perpetuate the Debt Slavery system. We are ACCUSTOMED to getting up in the morning & rushing out the door to 'clock in' to that job (under enormous physical stress often) in the belief that we need to 'work hard to pay our bills' ~ "The Protestant Work Ethic."
btw. 'Nothing wrong with working', I say... But at whose Expense and to whose Benefit. Let me get my black woman's voice on here: "Those extortionists makin' 100 dollars per hour off yo' back girl, while keepin' YOU on a minimum wage." Most people never question 'their job'. People BELIEVE that 'engaging in work' is very"Normal" and "Acceptable" - yes, SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE behaviour - coming back to the 'social fabric' comment earlier. And WHO implanted this idea in me?? Hmmm.... One guess.
Bronny NZ Anfs Also: the credo I live by is, "If you don't work, you don't eat..." which is taken from the Bible. We DO need to work to meet our daily physical needs for warmth, shelter, clothing, food & water. The challenge in the first instance is to BLAST our social conditioning which simply "Feeds the Machine". The second is to find productive ways to use our time to create stuff that still supports ourselves and others, in a loving and mutually beneficial way
(excerpt): "In the Lakota Indian reservation at Pine Ridge, S.D., in the United States’ second poorest county, the average life expectancy for a male is 48. This is the lowest in the Western Hemisphere outside of Haiti. About 60 percent of the Pine Ridge dwellings, many of which are sod huts, lack electricity, running water, adequate insulation or sewage systems. In the old coal camps of southern West Virginia, amid poisoned air, soil and water, cancer is an epidemic. There are few jobs. And the Appalachian Mountains, which provide the headwaters for much of the Eastern Seaboard, are dotted with enormous impoundment ponds filled with heavy metals and toxic sludge. In order to breathe, children go to school in southern West Virginia clutching inhalers. Residents trapped in the internal colonies of our blighted cities endure levels of poverty and violence, as well as mass incarceration, that leave them psychologically and emotionally shattered. And the nation’s agricultural workers, denied legal protection, are often forced to labor in conditions of unpaid bondage. This is the terrible algebra of corporate domination. This is where we are all headed. And in this accelerated race to the bottom we will end up as serfs or slaves."
Bloody disgusting. "Land of the free and the home of the brave..." Yeah right. Whose disgusting piece of propaganda is that ?? One guess
(excerpt): "... steadfast defiance... resisting... refusing to succumb to fear... refusing to surrender... It means saying no. To remain safe, to remain “innocent” in the eyes of the law in this moment in history is to be complicit in a monstrous evil..."
This most certainly is the internal fortitude that one needs to arouse in oneself to do this mahi, this work. The Action or Activism is quite different however, of simply letting the agents of the corporate entity know, "YOU are breaking the law... Do you know that... ??"
We no longer need to "resist", "defy" or "break the law". We are simply 'The Messengers' calmly and clearly telling the faceless corporation, "Back up. You're out of order."
